Plagiarism
The International Conference on Energy, Power, and Environment 2024 is committed to upholding the highest standards of academic integrity and originality. Plagiarism in any form is strictly prohibited and will not be tolerated.
Definition of Plagiarism
Plagiarism is the act of using someone else’s work, ideas, or expressions without proper acknowledgment. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Copying text, images, or data from another source without proper citation.
- Paraphrasing someone else’s work without giving credit.
- Presenting someone else’s ideas as your own.
- Submitting the same work for multiple purposes without permission.
Responsibilities
Participants are responsible for ensuring that their submissions are free from plagiarism. All submitted papers, abstracts, and presentations must be the original work of the authors and must properly cite all sources and references.
Consequences of Plagiarism
If a submission is found to contain plagiarized content, the following actions may be taken:
- Immediate rejection of the submission.
- Notification of the authors and their affiliated institutions.
- Ban from future conferences organized by us.
- Retraction of published papers, if applicable.
Prevention Measures
We use plagiarism detection tools to screen all submissions. Participants are encouraged to use similar tools to check their work before submission. Proper citation practices and adherence to ethical guidelines are essential.
Reporting Plagiarism
If you suspect that a work submitted to the conference contains plagiarized content, please contact us immediately with detailed information. All reports will be investigated thoroughly, and appropriate actions will be taken.
